- Keep Fit Association 54th National AGM
- Our 54th National AGM was hosted by Eastern Counties and held at Wodson Park Sports and Recreation Centre, on Saturday 1st October 2011. As usual there was a sparkling series of fitness sessions in the morning followed by our Annual General Meeting which included presentations to teachers who had increased their membership and to members nominated as Volunteer of the Year by their colleagues for their outstanding contribution to the KFA. The afternoon was taken up with performances by teams from across the country demonstrating what a happy fit bunch we members of the KFA are.
- National Volunteer of the Year Awards 2011
- At our National AGM in October, we were delighted to recognise the contribution our volunteers make to the Keep Fit Association. The winners announced for 2011 were Annette Salter - Committee Member and overall winner; Janet Reay - Teacher and Jean Roebuck - Member.
- Concordat 2011
- Concordat 2011 – the annual Training Conference for KFA teachers was held over the weekend of 9th and 20th July at Wodson Park, Hertfordshire. This year’s event was planned and hosted by Eastern Counties KFA and ran concurrently with a Members Recreative week-end at the same venue, which was also enthusiastically received.

- KFA National Competitions at Southport 2011
- The KFA National Championships took place over the week-end of the 19th -20th February at the Southport Convention Centre, Southport and featured approximately 300 competitors who collectively comprised 12 Duos, 6 trios, 14 soloists and 31 teams to compete for places in ten categories across the range of disciplines of the Keep Fit Association.

- The North East warmly welcomed KFA members from across the country to the Dolphin Centre, Darlington, County Durham, for the 53rd National KFA Annual General Meeting on the 2nd October 2010. The Annual General Meeting is our opportunity to meet up again with friends who share our passion for keep fit, to catch up with the latest news and events, to work with teachers from different regions and watch brilliant and varied demonstrations by teams from across the country. more..... - Volunteer of the Year Award 2010
- A particularly pleasurable part of the AGM is the announcement of the winners of the Volunteer of the Year Award. This is the occasion when we celebrate the contribution made by just some of our members towards making the KFA unique in its blend of keeping fit and social activities.
- Colour in Motion - Royal Albert Hall, June 2010
- Brigid Simmonds OBE. Chair of the Central Council for Physical Recreation, welcomed everyone to Moving Together – Colour in Motion, the second EMDP festival of movement and dance, saying that it came as no surprise to her that the Exercise, Movement and Dance Partnership was repeating its Royal Albert Hall event after the success of the first.
