KFA National Festival of Movement & Dance 2012
KFA National Festival of Movement & Dance 2012
We are thrilled to announce that a glittering Exercise Movement & Dance Spectacular celebrating the 55th anniversary of the Keep Fit Association will be staged on Saturday 9th June 2012.
This biennial showcase for movement and dance
will be
moving from our previous home at the Albert Hall to the spacious modern
1400
seat theatre set in the cultural heart of Milton Keynes. To mark our
55th Anniversary, it will be an exclusively KFA event giving us the opportunity to shine and raise awareness of the KFA, both
nationally and more locally. We will have two performances
– a matinee in the afternoon as well as an evening performance with all
profits going direct to the KFA.
2012 marks a number of prestigious anniversaries – including the Queen’s Golden Jubilee and this was a major consideration when deciding to change our historical venue. Milton Keynes ticks all the boxes. It is a vibrant and culturally diverse city within easy commuting distance of London and with widespread road, rail and air communications.
The theatre itself is one of the leading entertainment venues in the country, regularly previewing and showing top London West End musicals, drama, opera and ballet. And now the KFA is going to be there to celebrate our 55th Anniversary with an equally dazzling show.
Central Milton Keynes boasts one of the finest shopping centres in the South of the Country with shops entertainment and restaurants appealing to a wide range of tastes and ages. With its diverse ethnic and cultural mix, it is famed for the richness and authenticity of its restaurants, bars, clubs and eating houses. There's a lot to do in CMK before and after the show, so make a day of it.
Follow this link for Ticket Application form. Seat prices have been agreed by the KFA not Milton Keynes Theatre, so all applications must be sent to EMDP. (Please note they cannot be accepted or processed by the theatre.)
